Reality for those on message boards talking as if OU has put great WRs into the NFL

Bradley? called a 2nd round reach/bust

Clayton? 0 TDs last year, one more season like that, he’s a bust

Wilson? inactive every game last year, after proclaiming he was the best WR in the draft

Brandon Jones? fighting to to win a starting job

Facts are Facts, no crimson colored glasses here.

Dusty Dvoracekm hasn’t been given a timetable as far as returning to practice. Dvoracek sustained the injury while working out before training camp with Tommie Harris. Dvoracek is eager to get back on the practice field, but knows the Bears want to make sure that he’s 100 percent healed. Here’s what he said Tuesday: “I don’t think I’m behind at all. I went through everything in the offseason. I’ve missed a week of practice, which is never good. You never want to miss time. But I’ll trade missing time now for missing time later on during the season. They just want to make sure there’s absolutely nothing wrong before I return so that I don’t make it worse by trying to go too quick. I think they’re just being over precautious and they want to take time with it now so it doesn’t linger into the season.”

Brandon Jones healthy

Brandon Jones has been working as the Titans’ third receiver so far in training camp.

Jones’ mother tells him to “break a leg” before every game out of tradition. Unfortunately, Jones has injured his lower body, tearing his right ACL in 2005 and injuring his groin last season.

Jones is finally healthy and hoping to develop in what would be his second full season after Tennessee drafted him in 2005.

“He’s got that injury thing completely behind him. He’s getting open and making plays and he’s much more comfortable now with another year under his belt,” Fisher said.

Jones has proved capable at times, including in 2006 when he averaged 14.2 yards a catch. He’s hoping to start playing himself into a significant role on the offense.

“Where do I fit in into the mix? It’s hard to tell” what the coaches are thinking, Jones said. “I haven’t started making the plays that I want to make. I’ve got to continue to go out there and play better.”

A few of Jones’ teammates were more optimistic, including Vince Young.

“Brandon Jones has been doing real good, coming out here every day making plays for us, being physical to the ball definitely,” Young said. “The speed that he has, he’s starting to showcase that a whole lot.”

Someone at soonerfans.com tell Badger, he’s off on Clayton’s stats

Badger: Mark Clayton, WR: Drafted in the first round by Baltimore. Another Oklahoma native in the first round in the same year??? AND a solid contributor? Sure, he’s not a Pro Bowler (yet!) but is definitely a valuable part of a team’s offense known more for their defense. Had 67 receptions for 939 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2007. Grade: 4 stars

4 stars? 21st pick in the draft, delivers 0 touchdowns, 0. 531 yards, not 939.
Oh I banned from that board, so can someone point that out for him???

For three days in July, Malcolm Kelly visited a place where few cared whether he becomes a star in the NFL. During that time, he walked without the expectations of a second-round draft choice of the Washington Redskins, for whom the 6-foot-4, 219-pound wide receiver is a promising prospect. Read more..
