Three former Oklahoma players participated in individual workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine this weekend, with center Gabe Ikard recording the best times in the 3-cone drill (7.3 seconds) and 20-yard shuttle (4.37 seconds) of any offensive linemen there.
Damien Williams’ 40-yard dash time (4.45 seconds) ranked fourth among running backs, and Jalen Saunders was 10th among wide receivers in the 40 at 4.44 seconds.
“I thought I could’ve run a little faster in the 40, but having the top times in the 3-cone and short shuttle made the day better,” Ikard said. “I had a few scouts comment that they liked the way I looked in the position drills, so that was encouraging.”
Cornerback Aaron Colvin and fullback Trey Millard are each recovering from torn ACLs and weren’t able to fully participate at the Combine, though they did attend.
